I'm a Senior Software Engineer based in the Philippines with 10+ years owning and delivering cross-platform mobile applications and backend APIs for large enterprise clients. At Manila Electric Company (Meralco) — the country's largest electric utility — I lead development on customer-facing mobile apps serving millions of users across Android and iOS.
Before Meralco, I spent 4 years at Shakey's Pizza building the customer-facing ordering app natively in Java (Android Studio) and Objective-C (Xcode), alongside a company-wide loyalty platform on .NET Core, real-time sales dashboards, and serverless APIs on AWS Lambda.

Problem solved: Open-source reference project demonstrating production patterns: Pydantic v2 validation, DynamoDB GSI queries, Lambda singleton client, decorator-based auth middleware, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
AI-powered web app that detects corn plant diseases from a photo upload. Trained a custom InceptionV3 model in Jupyter Notebook, then served it via a Flask API — classifying images as Blight, Common Rust, Gray Leaf Spot, Healthy, or Invalid.
Problem solved: Filipino farmers struggle to identify crop diseases early, leading to significant harvest loss. This app gives them an instant, accurate diagnosis from just a phone photo.

Problem solved: Recruiters spend 30 seconds on a CV. An interactive AI lets them ask exactly what they need and get instant, accurate answers drawn from my real background.
Customer-facing food ordering app built in two fully separate native codebases — Java (Android) and Objective-C (iOS) — with online payment integration and an ASP.NET API serving hundreds of franchise branches nationwide.
Problem solved: Customers needed a reliable ordering experience on both platforms. Built and maintained two independent native codebases simultaneously, integrated online payment processing, and built an API that connected the ordering system directly to the delivery dispatch platform — eliminating manual order handoff between teams.
Full-stack loyalty system: customer-facing loyalty API, real-time sales dashboard for HQ, and an internal admin console for customer support agents to manage member accounts and redemptions.
Problem solved: Loyalty points and sales data were tracked manually per branch with no central visibility. Built the full stack end-to-end — loyalty API, reporting dashboard, and a .NET Framework admin console backed by SQL Server stored procedures for the support team.
Serverless microservices backend (200+ Lambda functions across 43 services) powering a major utility's customer app — billing, payments, outage reporting, service enrollment, and notifications. Handles ~63K API requests/month with 0% error rate on critical flows over 90 days.
Problem solved: A legacy monolith could not handle peak billing-cycle traffic or rapid mobile releases. Migrated to a serverless microservices architecture with 35+ independently deployed services, sub-400ms API responses, and canary deployment support.
Serverless API that automates customer enrollment by generating PDF contracts, routing them through a third-party e-signature service, and archiving signed documents to a DMS.
Problem solved: Field agents manually printed, signed, and filed customer forms. This service replaced the entire workflow end-to-end without a single paper form.
Lambda function that exports millions of customer records from a production PostgreSQL database to S3 as chunked CSVs, reliably working around serverless time limits.
Problem solved: Operations teams needed bulk exports of millions of records from a live database. Solved with a custom self-reinvocation pattern that chains Lambda executions within a 15-minute timeout budget.
Real-time GPS tracking Android app and web dashboard for field sales representatives. The mobile app continuously uploads location data to a server; managers monitor rep positions live on the web.
Problem solved: Management had no visibility into where field reps were throughout the day, making it hard to coordinate coverage and verify on-site visits.
iOS app for creating and tracking personal tasks with real-time cloud sync. Users can log in from any device and instantly pick up where they left off — tasks created on one phone appear on another.
Problem solved: No lightweight iOS task app existed that synced seamlessly across devices. Using Firebase as a real-time backend, the app keeps task state consistent across logins without any manual refresh.
